The Super Visa for parents and grandparents

The Super Visa lets parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents stay with family for longer.

An overview

The Super Visa is a multiple-entry visitor visa that allows a longer stay than an ordinary visitor visa. It is only for parents and grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

The child or grandchild must provide an invitation letter and show enough income to support the family. Private Canadian medical insurance is also required.
