Services

How much does a consultation cost?

It depends on the service and how complex your case is. Before any work starts, the fee and the scope of the service are confirmed with you clearly and in writing. Our fee is separate from government fees, which are paid directly to the Government of Canada.

How long does a case take?

Preparation time depends on how ready your documents are. Once submitted, processing time is set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and varies by program and country; IRCC publishes current times on its official website.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes. Consultations are available online or in person in Vancouver, by appointment.

Which immigration route is right for me?

That depends on your goal, age, education, work experience, language skills and family situation. In an assessment we review your profile and explain the realistic routes, with their advantages and limits.

Does VisaMehr guarantee a visa?

No. Only the Government of Canada decides each application, and no licensed consultant can guarantee the outcome. Our commitment is to prepare the strongest, most complete application the rules allow.

How do I book a consultation?

Use the form on the Contact page, email [email protected] or call 604 817 3771, and we will arrange a time.

Temporary visas

How long is a Canadian temporary visa valid?

A visitor visa can be valid for up to 10 years, or until one month before your passport expires, but the border officer decides how long you may stay on each entry — usually up to six months. Study and work permits are tied to your program or job.

Do I need an invitation letter?

Not for a visitor visa, but if you are visiting family or friends, a genuine invitation letter helps show the purpose of your trip. For the super visa, a letter of invitation from your child or grandchild is required.

Can I work or study on a visitor visa?

You cannot work in Canada as a visitor. Courses of six months or less are possible without a study permit, but longer studies or any work need their own permit.

How much does a temporary visa application cost?

Government fees differ by visa type and are listed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on its official website. Our service fee is separate and confirmed with you before any work starts.

How long does processing take?

It depends on the application type and your country of residence, and it changes often. IRCC publishes current processing times on its official website, and we go over them with you in the assessment.

What if my application is refused?

We first review the reasons in the refusal letter and, if needed, the officer's notes. Then we address the weak points and, where possible, submit a new, stronger application. In some cases other legal options exist.

Permanent residence

How long does permanent residence take?

It depends on the program. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) publishes current processing times for each program on its official website; add the time needed to prepare documents and take tests.

Can I get permanent residence without a job offer?

Yes. Many Express Entry candidates apply without a job offer. Some provincial programs do require one. Your assessment covers the routes that fit your situation.

What is the difference between Express Entry and provincial programs?

Express Entry is the federal system for managing skilled-worker applications and ranks candidates by points. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) are run by each province for its own needs, and some are linked to Express Entry.

Can my spouse and children come with me?

Yes. In most programs you can include your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children in your application.

What is the minimum language level?

It depends on the program. For example, the Federal Skilled Worker Program asks for at least CLB 7 in all four abilities, while some programs set a lower bar. Your language results also strongly affect your score.

What are the government and consulting fees?

IRCC lists government fees on its official website, and they depend on how many family members are included. Our service fee is confirmed with you in writing before any work starts.

Canadian citizenship

How long must I be physically present in Canada?

At least 1,095 days (three years) in Canada in the five years before you sign your application, including at least 730 days as a permanent resident. Each day spent in Canada as a temporary resident before PR counts as half a day, adding up to a maximum of 365 days.

Do I need proof of language skills?

If you are 18 to 54, yes: you must show English or French speaking and listening skills at CLB 4 (or NCLC 4) with accepted proof. Applicants aged 55 and over are exempt.

What does the citizenship test cover?

The test is for applicants aged 18 to 54 and covers the rights and responsibilities of citizens and Canada's history, geography, government and symbols.

How long does a citizenship application take?

Processing time is set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), which publishes current times on its official website. A complete application avoids unnecessary delays.

Can family members apply together?

Yes. Family members can send their applications together, but each adult must meet the requirements on their own. Children under 18 apply with a separate minor application.

Pre-submission review

Which applications can be reviewed?

Temporary visas (visitor, study, work), permanent residence (such as Express Entry and provincial programs) and citizenship.

Does this replace a full consultation?

No. A pre-submission review checks a file you prepared yourself and gives you a report; choosing the route, preparing the full application and representing you with IRCC are part of our full service.

How long does a review take?

Usually 3 to 6 business days, depending on the type and size of the file.

Will you make the corrections for me?

The report lists everything to correct, with recommendations, and you make the changes. If you would like us to make the corrections and submit the file, we can do that as a separate service.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the type and size of the file and is confirmed clearly before the review starts.

How do I request a review?

Use the form on the Contact page or email [email protected], and we will tell you how to send your documents securely.
